Who We Are

Robert J. BurskeyCEO

Robert Burskey is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience and proven success in all disciplines of the insurance industry – health and disability, property and casualty, life and annuities. He built one of the nation’s largest independent marketing organizations, producing over $1 billion of new annuity and life insurance premiums per year with one of the largest sales forces in the country. After selling the business in 2006, Bob went into property and casualty insurance, buying, growing and selling his own agency. He is now re-entering the annuity and life market where he is acknowledged as an industry leader in innovative marketing, design, and all phases of distribution.

Bradley J. Hayosh, J.D.COO

Brad holds a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School with a concentration in corporate and tax law. Additionally, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with an honors degree in economics. Brad has extensive experience in the insurance, finance and real estate sectors with several hundred million dollars of transactional experience. He has served as president of several successful private companies involved in these sectors with a particular emphasis on creating investor equity through complex financial structuring. Brad brings a track record of success, having grown past companies several-fold, multiple times, and his experience with sales organizations and coaching within those organizations provides an additional asset to Annuix and its affiliates. As Chief Operating Officer of Annuix, Brad is a member of the Board of Directors and oversees all operating activities of the company.

Cynthia C. ShaferEVP

Cynthia is an insurance executive with 30 years of management, marketing and client service management in the field of insurance/risk management brokerage. While in this capacity, she serviced Fortune 500, Industry Segments and middle market clients; this also encompassed profit and loss responsibilities. She began her insurance career with Johnson & Higgins. After the J&H merger with Marsh and McLennan, Cynthia became a senior vice president and the insurance brokerage manager (middle market) in Chicago. She joined Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services in 2000 and transitioned to the wholesale side of the business, then joined Risk Placement Services (RPS) as executive vice president in February 2001. Cynthia was promoted to area president RPS Itasca in 2005. Prior to joining the Annuix team, Cynthia worked for Wells Fargo Insurance Services as Midwest Regional Business Development Officer.
